Independent Laura Sibilia is running for Vermont Speaker

Independents for America is thrilled to support Laura Sibilia (I - Dover), a guest on our podcast, in her bid to be the next Speaker in the Vermont House. Laura, a four-term Representative from Dover, Vermont, is challenging the current Speaker, Jill Krowinski (D - Burlington). Laura aims to address widespread frustration over the current Speaker's lack of communication, inclusion, and transparency. She seeks the position not to push any ideological agenda, but to foster a collaborative, transparent, and effective legislative process that leverages the collective horsepower of all 150 Representatives to find solutions to Vermont’s pressing issues.
